The American Eagles Congratulate
Jay Needham and Daniel Woolard!!

The American Eagles Semi-Professional men’s PDL team sent 7 players to the United Soccer League (USL) Professional Combine. The Tornados had the most players invited to the combine of any of the 62 Premier Development League (PDL) teams in North America!

Head Coach Paul Robinson and owner Jim Mertz are very excited that the Tornados are able to provide the opportunity for their players to play professional soccer.

Jay Needham and Daniel Woolard are two of our players who took advantage of this opportunity. Both are heading to Major League Soccer (MLS) teams. Needham has been drafted by D.C. United and Woolard has been drafted by Chicago Fire.

American Eagles —SMU defender JAY NEEDHAM (Ft. Worth, Texas) was selected sixth in the third round of the 2007 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, which was held Friday in Indianapolis, Indiana. DC United selected Needham, who was the 32nd pick overall.

American Eagles — MSU defender DANIEL WOOLARD (Bedford, Texas) has been selected 47th in the 2007 Major League supplemental Soccer Draft.

	American Eagles Men's PDL Tryouts

	Following a great try-out which was held at Richland College on Sat March 11th which saw over 100 players attend. The American Eagles mens PDL start pre-season training this week.

	Paul Robinson would like to thank all the players who attended the try-out and is looking forward to starting pre-season. The pre-season game's schedule shall be available soon.

The schedule for the 2005-06 season is now posted in the 'Schedule' section. We would love to see you at the home games on December 10th and 17th and January 21st and 28th.

PASL - 2005 - American Eagles Reach The Playoffs

Last year the American Eagles Indoor team finished 2nd in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL). They have made the playoffs again this year with 5 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie. The Tornados Indoor team is looking better and stronger going into this year's playoff run. Coach Beau Brown stated "We should go further this year we have more experience and better continuity amongst the player."
