| Playing Career |
| Steve joined our Club in 2007 as an assistant coach. He's been involved in soccer either as a player or coach since 1984. He came up through the local select soccer programs and played in the Division 1 Dallas Classic League with some of the local nationally recognized clubs. Steve also enjoyed participating in the Dallas Cup five consecutive eligible years. For three years of his early career, his team was runner-up in the State Cup. In high school, he was a Four-Year-Letterman and as a freshman he received Newcomer of the Year for the area. He was named to both the All District and All Area Teams for all four years. For five years he was a player for the Olympic Development Program (ODP). As part of ODP, he achieved recognition as a top player in the region and was named to Region III travel team where he traveled nationally and internationally competing with premier youth players and teams. He was also named to the US National Pool. After high school, he received a scholarship to play at Oklahoma City University and played there for two years earning Honorable Mention 2nd All Conference Team. |

As a coach, Steve has been an assistant to Alex Schindler for 8 years. He has coached with Dallas Inter Soccer Club, FC Dallas, and American Eagles. He has coached at all levels of youth development and with his experience, and knowledge of the game has helped many players move on as strong young adults and technically sound soccer players. He is the Chief Financial & Marketing Assistant with the Tornados and conducts his own Skills Lessons. He currently holds a Texas State "E" License. |
