| Playing Career |
| Roger joined our Club in September of 2010. He's been involved in soccer either as a player or coach since 1959. He played as a youth professional in England signing with the Wolverhampton Wanders at age 14 before turning pro in 1968 with Ipswich Town FC in the English Division 1 league. He also played for Athlone Town FC in Ireland. His pro career in North America is extensive. He played professionally with the Vancouver Spartans in the Canadian Professional League (CPL). He played for the Montreal Olympics, Miami Toros, St. Louis Stars and San Jose Earthquakes in the North American Soccer League(NASL). He played for the Cleveland Cobras and Columbus Magic in the American Soccer League (ASL) and he played for the Phoenix Inferno and Buffalo Stallions in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). |

Roger has held coaching positions with professional clubs in Europe and the US including assistant coach for Athlone Town FC, Stockport County, Phoenix Inferno and Cleveland Cobras. He was a Co-director for Hubert Vogelsinger Soccer Academy in Texas, Connecticut and California. He's coached extensively throughout the US and has been the Technical Director for youth clubs in Washington, New Mexico and is the owner of Roger Verdi International Football Academy. Roger currently holds an English F.A. Preliminary Coaching Badge, English F.A. Full International coaching Diploma and a USSF "B” National license. |
